Education opens every door

My great-grandfather left India for Uganda as a licensing clerk, eventually building a distribution empire across East Africa. When the family was repatriated to the UK, this became our motto: education opens every door. My intellectual curiosity is built on the belief that there's something to learn from everything and everyone—growth happens when you put yourself in a position to discover it.

Three perspectives, one truth

I've experienced pricing from three perspectives: as an advisor at Simon-Kucher (London/San Francisco), an operator running GTM strategy at Payhawk, and from the investor's lens at Hg Capital. Each perspective reinforced the crucial role pricing strategy plays in business growth. More importantly, it taught me to speak every language: from BDR to CEO, from Excel models to boardrooms.

Impact as the priority

When Johan invited me to build Northlane with him, it was the energy of working with tech founders that drew me in. The best part? Watching a founder's eyes light up when they realise pricing can be their secret weapon, not their biggest headache. We help startups turn great ideas into great businesses by advising with an operator mindset, focusing on outcomes and making decisions.

Eternal optimism in all things

Born in Manchester, shaped by the US, Paris, and Singapore, I now call London home. When I'm not convincing people that pricing strategy is incredibly cool, I'm training for my next sporting milestone—breaking 80 on the golf course, improving my Padel Playtomic rating, or beating my Hyrox PB. As a lifelong Manchester United fan (unfortunately), I know all about hope, disappointment, and eternal optimism. Weekends find me playing sports, exploring new restaurants, or pretending to like martinis (gin, dry, with a twist).
