Clarity in complexity

I’ve always been drawn to taking complex problems and shaping them into something clear and actionable. That principle has guided me across different roles, teams, and countries — and it’s one I try to bring to every growth story I work on.

Foundation for growth

I studied Economics and Finance at the University of Amsterdam and the University of British Columbia before joining Simon-Kucher, where I spent nearly a decade focused on growth. During that time, I worked out of the Amsterdam, London, and New York offices, and co-founded the Johannesburg office. Building something from the ground up gave me a taste of the founder mindset — from the energy of hiring the first team members, to building client relationships from scratch, to figuring out how to scale with limited resources. It showed me the value of an ambitious, diverse, and vision-aligned team, and the satisfaction of creating something that lasts.

Northlane as a platform for impact

Today, as a Principal at Northlane, I work with founders, teams, and investors throughout different phases of their growth journeys. Pricing is often the entry point, but I’ve learned that real impact comes from creating clarity and alignment, so ambition doesn’t just stay on paper — it turns into momentum.

Enjoying the journey

Living and working across three continents has given me the chance to step outside of routine, explore new places, and experience different cultures — a practice that keeps me grounded and brings fresh perspective to my work. Outside of work, I’m drawn to adventure: from hiking peaks to scuba diving, to exploring remote places and experiencing wildlife up close. These experiences remind me that growth isn’t only about outcomes, but also about the connections and adventures gained along the way.
